I’ve had my Clements .50 conversion loaded now for 13 months , hope it goes bang when I finally do shoot it

When shooting my Clements .50 cal. Conversion , I use the mag. Primers as each chamber holds a lot of powder , so far so good

I don’t know if Dave Clements has any barrels Left over , from when he did his .50 conversion s as he made the bigger barrels , anytime you sent one to him for the upgrade the old parts were his property

Conicals shoot pretty good , that target is at 50 yrds,I was sighting it in

I believe mine is from accurate molds

When I do cast the conicals I lube the groove with homemade lubricant and then resize the bullet in a lee resizing die. They are 250 grain

It will be awhile , cast a bunch last year just moved they are packed some where , I. Bought the mold through Dave when he did the conversion, he may still able to get them . I think it was around 150.00

I should’ve sent him my stainless one to get done, but since it’s never been fired I’ll keep it original

I got mine out the other week and cleaned her up , Dave make a great conversion , Sad to see he stopped , 50 grain of 777 is pretty potent and fun. It’s a very very accurate pistol

I use a torch tip cleaning tool . Different diameters in the kit . I just use the ends only the cleaning wires not the ribbed section
