Upload them to photo bucket and click on the IMG code, then paste it into a reply to this thread. Either way, the rifle is a Remington M91 Mosin Nagant. It may have been sporterized though.

    Mosin question.

The arsenal refurbished rifles will more than likely be your average run of the mill wartime Izhevsk 91/30 unless you can request otherwise. Nothing special, but great solid rifles. MO marked means ministry of defense, and these rifles will have a slash and then a second date by the original...

    Did you ever just QUIT?

I technically don't pay anything to go shoot, but because the range is 15 miles away I make a point to shoot at least the same amount of time it took me to drive there from the time I put my gate code in, and to the time I sign in and sign out.

    I'm crossing over!

It mostly depends on what you want to do with them. Rainier recommends cast bullet data, and berry recommends low to mid level jacketed data. The problem with plated bullets is that if you push them too fast you'll lead just like a cast bullet, and if you push them too fast you'll leave behind...

    1917 7.62x54

A very interesting rifle you have there. Russia contracted 2 American companies, New England Westinghouse, and Remington armory to produce M91 long rifles for them. Both companies produced right around 1 million or so. When 1917 rolled around and the bolshevik revolution started, the United...

    Squirrel hunting

When I get the chance to squirrel hunt, my go to gun is my 95% condition 1965 FN belgian made auto 5, light 20. It is my favorite shotgun.

    Top Shot - Season 3

Looking forward to it. I hated it at first but it represents the 2nd amendment and the world of firearms in a positive light, and has real life everyday people on there, as well as professional competition shooters. It's better than nothing.

    ID this bullet

I was going to say that it looked like an old peters soft point but it appears you have found the identity of it. :)

    The 336 Club

No problem. I'm praying it will be back up in a timely manner because I wanted to re-organize the stickies in the General rifle OT so it's easier to navigate.

    Long term storage

Put a coating of ballistol on the outside and inside, and it has not failed me yet. I swear by it. For my military surplus collection that gets looked at more than it gets handled or shot, I will begin going to a wax to protect them.
