Can this screw up be fixed?

I would think it would depend on how hard they are crimped... Try seating one to the proper depth. As a last resort you could pull the bullets. Tom

If you could only have One Cap & Ball Revolver...

While my heart tells me my 1851 Navy, I would probably opt for a 1858 Remington... especially for self defense. The ability to quickly change an empty cylinder for a full one would be very handy. Also the ability to carry a conversion cylinder and be able to shoot .45 Colt or .45 ACP...

.223 Case (Really) Stuck in AR15

I would try a hard wood dowel. You can usually get them at the hardware store. IF this doesn't work I would try a solid brass rod or a solid mild steel rod. Either should also be available at the hardware store... Tom

best .223 round for TX deer

The Federal Premiums are DESIGNED to hold together on deer sized game. What ever you get make sure it is designed for deer sized game and NOT a varmint round. Tom

    Top Rifle Poll

I voted Ruger 77. I just love these guns. I have one in .35 Whelen, .308 Win. and .257 Roberts and they can do everything I would want. If I wasn't getting a Ruger I would look closely at the CZ rifles or a Tikka. Honestly none of the above rifles would be a "bad" choice!! Tom

    Hog Hunting - Close Combat!

Hog hunting gun - which one?

I would opt for the .44 mag lever gun with a 3" 629 as back up. Lever guns are pretty easy to carry and handy in tight places. It will also bump the velocity up a good bit and make hitting easier. Tom

    air rifle

With airguns 1,100+ fps sounds good in ads, but is not desirable. A pellet is a diablo shape. Think of a badminton cock. They work by using drag on the skirt of the pellet. When a pellet crosses the sound barrier it wobbles, does it again when it drops below it. This adversely affects...
