I don't use any media or tumbler. I deprime, then soak in dish soap and water. Rinse and load. I want my cases clean so not to damage my dies,but careless if the brass shines.
I use a Lee Universal deprimer for all cases. Then I soak them in water and a little Dawn dish soap. Rinse and dry. Ready to resize,prime and load from there.

I have the Lyman TMagII turret. It does speed up the process some,but if you had the Hornady quick change bushings on you dies you can change dies on a single stage press pretty fast. I personally see no point in 7 or 8 stations on a turret. I have never used all six stations on my Lyman.

I use it for all my pistol ammo. It makes the resizing process so much smoother.
Give it enough time to dry before sizing the cases. The alcohol evaporates off and leaves a thin film of lube on the cases.

I pull the nipples after every range use.
I made a nipple wrench out of a 1/4 drive 5mm socket. Took my Dremel tool and cut the slot to fit the nipples. Have not had anymore problem removing nipples.
I also have the Traditions (Pietta) 1851 Navy in 36 caliber. I use a .375 Speer swaged ball over a lubed felt wad and 15 grains of Goex FFFg. Very easy shooting load, but still get the boom and the smoke.
