No more gun sales at Walmart??

Why would any working American with an IQ over 2 go to Wal-Mart anyway? Companies like that are why the USA is on the brink of imploding. Try to raise a family on their wages and benefits. Remember a recession is when your neighbor loses his job,a depression is when you lose your job. BTW,I...

    Etronix primers

Does anybody know if the Remmy boys still produce the Etronix primers and if so where to get them? I see a lot of the Etronix rifles around worth the money but I'm a little reserved on buying one if you can't get the primers. Don't want to buy the factory ammo either, figured it would be...

    Different Strokes...

I dont get them either.I would describe myself as a perfectionist though and when it came to reloading and shooting centerfires though,I thought I had it whipped until I started shooting with somebody like that. The guy taught me more in a hour than a lifetime of books could've done.I am now a...

    Anyone have a Marlin 982VS

When I was younger I believe I had what was called an 882 Marlin. It was a clip fed, bolt action .22 mag. It shot pretty well, the drawback on the gun was the trigger. Very excessive pull, probably around the 7-8# range, and a lot of creep. I don't know if the new ones have been refined any or not.

    What makes a Rifle accurate?

An accurate rifle? Just remember this.In my dealings with rifles,(internet, gun shows, classifieds, etc.),I have bought a lot of guns "that would shoot good",but had to turn around and sell a lot of guns that would only shoot OK.Point is that you hear a lot of hype and new ideas, exotic new...

    Remington or Browning

Remington 1-Easily adj. trigger 2-Probably better out of box accuracy 3-Easier to sell if needed.Much bigger market share out there for Rems. 4-Made in USA versus Japan.I would rather have my money stay here.If I support American industry, there is a better chance an American will buy my...

Kimber versus Cooper 22 rifles.... narrowing the field

Let me clarify my previous post. The experience was with Cooper centerfires in a 17CCM & 22CCM.It may have been only the caliber since it was on the experimental side.I haven't had any dealings with the Cooper rimfire ,but that ordeal there spooked me away.
