    defensive load for an apt

Those Tazer shells for 12-gauge shotguns might be an option once they start selling them to the public.

whats the verdict on fiber optic sights?

What about Rifle sights? I don't mind those at all.

    Hi-Cap .357 Smith & Wessons

Personally if it holds 7 shots or 8 shots, I say "7 shot" or "8 shot", respectively. The only time I would normally use the term "high capacity" is in reference to a double-stacked .45 ACP 1911 since that seems to be a common term for them. However, I wouldn't call someone "anti-gun" just for...

whats the verdict on fiber optic sights?

I hate bead sights myself. I replaced the front sight with a "light tube" sight and left the rear sight as it was and it works well for me.

    Stoeger Double Defense

I'm not against the Stoeger Double Defense, but looking only at doubles, I think I'd prefer their Condor Outback, which is an Over/Under with extractors. For those who said they would prefer a double-trigger, the regular Stoeger Coach Guns have double-triggers. They're identical to the Double...

Florida's bring your gun to work law

They should have made it allow you to put it in your locker at work if you have one.

    Range report: Benelli M2 tactical

If I were you I would find out for sure whether you have the Comfortech stock or not (see if it says in the manual, compare pictures on the Benelli website, call Benelli if needbe.)

    Range report: Benelli M2 tactical

I was told the Benelli M2 was designed to cycle with reduced-recoil shells too. Many semi-autos won't. Might be worth giving them a try.

    .17HMR vs. .22WMR in a Revolver

Well what I *really* got excited about for whatever reason was a Ruger semi-auto in .17HM2 (not R), but that didn't happen and nobody else is even considering making one so that seems like a lost cause. I even considered getting a Mark III modified by Volquartsen, but that would have been about...

    .17HMR vs. .22WMR in a Revolver

Hmm thanks for the info guys. Looks like I'd probably go with the .17HMR if I was getting one, but I was just curious. A very loud blast does matter to me so that was good to know.

    .17HMR vs. .22WMR in a Revolver

How does the .17HMR compare with the .22WMR in a revolver? To me the price is similar enough now to not be an issue. I know Taurus makes .17HMR revolvers. Someone was asking about .22WMR revolvers so that got me curious about this. I did a search and there are a few threads comparing the two...

Wade's in Bellevue, WA - Pistol classes

Sorry I don't know. He certainly could be. He's tall and fit if that helps. I remember he mentioned that he teaches a lot of LEOs.

Wade's in Bellevue, WA - Pistol classes

I took the "Introductory Handgun" course at Wade's and I had Paul as the instructor. I thought he did an excellent job of making sure we knew how to handle firearms safely. We live fired .22s, .38s, .357s, .41s, and .45s. I found the chance to experience shooting each of those calibers very...
