    realy,,not being rude,, ..but thanks replys sound good,,,the gun is a 742 carbine bi-cenntenial look topic was hunting,not tack driving,,people get so tore up if a rifle wont group 1 inch at 100 yards it terible,,just sell them to me...LOL..:neener:

    ..yesterday,,i just could not pass up this buy,,Remington 742 auto 30-06 %98,percent the man bought it all in 1976,Redfield 2x7 low profile scope, torel leather strap,locking hardshell case,two magazine,s been in the deer woods three times we sighned a bill of sell,stating he bought the rifle...

    ..I just picked one up cheap,,,this thing is old,,PAT NOV,20,1917 will it be a good shooter??just had to have this ole-rifle,that feal of this gun,,is very addicting,,i think a 26 inch barrel,bore is as new how do they funtion??any jamming trouble??anyone has any goods and bads please reply...

    99 savage 222 ..i know for a fact,,up to 1000,whitetails deer have been taken with my friends family gun,,,savage 99,..222,cal the gun and the hunter has fed three familys,,and dont forget the ole 22 hornet
