Good oberservation but dont forget that back in the day there werent that many plastic pistols, if any. Nevermind the amount of variations and styles of pistols (metal or plastic) available today. I simply dont feel the need to go out and try everything on the market.

I personally think the XD grip feels like that of a hammer, the overall balance just feels top heavy to me.
Oh well, I am sure they are accurate. I dont see whats so wrong about the glock grip angle, though. It is exceptionaly quick from draw to site picture for me.
Glock are very dependable.
They are great for training. They can be dry fired over and over without damage. A little Break Free Clp or similar type oil everynow helps them run smooth but is not needed for reliability.
Interesting about shooting low. When i first installed my Big Dots i went ahead and jacked up the rear site with the little screws until the site was stuck in tight which left a gap between the bottom of the site and the top of the slide.

I have a set of these XS big dot sites on my Glock and i like them.
Any one have an opionions about the effectiveness of this type of site compared to a standard three dot? Are LEO's or military types using them? Also, would you consider them a good choise for a carry gun?
oh i know they probably do. especially if it is anything like a tanfoglio 9mm that i shoot at the range. this is the probablem with ccw pieces, i just want them to have and carry them all. haha
