I love my Glock 20 which I shoot with full power loads comfortably however I have large and long fingered hands. In fact I added a Hogue overwrap to the grip to make it more secure. I frequently carry the 20 when I am out working on my tractor as we occasionally have feral pigs. I am thinking...
The ones I have guns for:
218 Bee
25-20
32-40
38-40
6mm Lee Navy
10mm Auto
and one I don't:( I let a "buddy" screw me out of this one)
219 Zipper, looking for this one as I have the dies and brass.
That's all I remember.
Having been there - your problem is not your GF but your mother. She is working your GF behind your back. Ask some questions and I'll bet you will find there have been some conversations you do not know about.
It is only a partial solution but tell your mother to butt out - she won't of...
CH primer pocket swages
They don't get mentioned much but they work and are reasonably priced.
http://www.ch4d.com/catalog/?p=57
The full set which can either swage or set primers is just under $30. For swaging only is just over $20.
I have had the original for large primers for a...
My gun locker is home made but plenty secure.I am trying to figure out how much clearance to allow above the dehumidifier unit. What is the surface temperature? The locker is set horixontal.
Based on cubic footage the 18" is more than adequate. Dues it need to be shielded to prevent my guns...
A few quick comments:
I own and shoot a 38-40 and a 32-40 Winchester. I think that we as a people are obsessed with more, bigger, better. As far as techniques and discipline are concerned I think that they have declined.
An open sighted rifle is a short range weapon, not more than 100 yds and...
Possible opportunity in Bryan/College Station
West Corporation www.west.com has a Call Center in College Station and advertises jobs periodically and has been advertising recently. Won't be a fabulous salary but might let you get to Texas. If you go 10-15 miles outside the city limits you...
Will purchase a Sod Buster Jr.
After reading all the posts I decided that I need to go get a Sod Buster Jr. for "formal wear". The large one fits just find in my jeans but "prints" through in lighter trousers. The lumber yard that I buy from has a Case display so I will check there first then...
I carry the large Sod Buster in black. Comfortable to carry and to use, also it can be opened (and closed)one handed if necessary. I bought this one to replace an Eye Brand wooden handled one that I owned for nearly 50 years which disappeared in our final move to our rural property. When I am...
I love peep sights!
I love peep sights. An example: I have a Winchester Lee Navy that has been sporterized in 7 x 57. It has a bolt mounted peep. Quite a few years ago I spotted a Texas white tail on an abandoned railroad right of way. Since I had a consulting contract to map the abandoned...
G19 & g20
I have a 1st gen G19 that I need to get the wife proficient on. and, my favorite, a G20 with Hogue grip. Best fitting handgun I have owned.
Thinking about a 22rf conversion for the G19. Any experience/suggestions?

I like my G20 just as it is. I have a very long hand and I have put a Hogue overwrap grip on it. For me it is very comfortable and controlled. I feel the recoil more with the Blackhawk in 10mm since I don't have as good of a grip on that gun.

No 32-20 but I do have 25-20 and 218 Bee. I do have a win 92 25-20 rifle with a very rough barrel in it that I am thinking about having rebored to 32-20.

Polls are designed to elict a desired response which then may be completely misrepresented when reported. A POX on polls! Unfortunately people believe them without ever knowing what was actually asked.
