I picked up a Gen3 G26 with Meprolight night sights at the gun show today. Came with 2 magazines. The Gen4 G26 with fixed sights and 3 mags was $20 cheaper. But, after adding night sights, it would be way more expensive.

I've owned 4 1911's. Still own 3 of them. STI Trojan 9mm, Kimber Pro Raptor and Springfield TRP. Sold a Para-Ord to a buddy who was on a budget. The Para-Ord was reliable from day 1 and probably had 1000 rounds through it. I had no reservations selling it to a friend as I knew it was reliable.

Definitely check Bushnell Elite 4200 and 3200 scopes that are on closeout right now as Bushnell is reorganizing their product line to all be under an "Elite" product line.
Looking at the Vortex Viper PST FFP 4-16x50 or one of the two new Sightron scopes for 2011: SIII 3.5-10x44 LR MDCM or SIII 3.5-10x44 LR IRMOA.
I'll be using it for hunting and long range targets on a Savage 10 PC in .308.
