I will second the vote for Aliengear. Mind you, I'm rather very new to CCW, but I'm very happy with how well it's working out for me so far. Comfortable, seems to be pretty solid.
I've not really touched something that was older than I was, that wasn't maintained by someone who knew what they were doing. I've not really been a collector, per se.. the few things I own were all bought new. So when my Dad handed me a 1934 Beretta today and asked me if I could get it to work...
First and one of the best for me
With my first paycheck from being in the Reserves, I got a Browning Buckmark Bullseye model. Gets dirty fast, but if I feed it well, it's the closest thing ever to a tack driver. Pretty thing too, with the rosewood grips.
The first one was a Ruger P85. Sent it in for the recall, and it still shot well enough. Wasn't that crazy about it... sold it to a guy in my Reserve unit for what I paid for it, at least.
Greetings to all... I'm new to THR but I do definitely appreciate the thought behind it, and figured this might be the best place to ask a 'noob' question.
(I should say first, for background... I'm not a complete gun newbie but I do know you only should stop learning when your blood stops...
Hello
New here, and glad to keep learning, always. I have a small group of guns, nothing like what some have, but I'm much more interested in knowing as much as possible about the few I do have than getting a collection going. (I have too many hobbies as it is... heh.) Thanks for having me.
