Thanks for all the replies! That's why I come here - ideas that I didn't think of. I like the chest rig idea, but the shoulder holster isn't quite what I'm looking for - unless it doesn't get in the way of properly seating a rifle for a shot.

What's not in the linked story is that Florida has a preemption law in effect. It would be against state law for the Governor to comply with the Mayor's illegal order to ban carry, something Florida Carry has been slapping cities pretty hard with since the preemption law passed.

I have...uh, I mean, I HAD an AR until my wife stole it from me. It was a nice Spike's Tactical Middy, too. I only got about 150 rounds through it before her felonious act, too! Now I need another one so I can enjoy some range time with it.

Coming back for an update. Forgot to mention that I've got a Walther P22 which is only 100% with CCI Mini-Mags. I've also shot a Beretta Neos and enjoyed it, too. The mag release on the Neos is probably the best of the bunch (especially if you are right handed), but I still prefer the Buckmark...

I voted for the SP101 because I want one, too! I've got a Single-Six convertible and love it, but I'm looking to get into the DA game, too.

I've got to second the Buckmark. I've only got about 1K rounds through mine, but it's been a dream and eats everything I feed it.
