FYI, the first pic, bottom knife, is a SuperLeaf, not a Leafstorm. SuperLeaf is the former SuperHawk frame with the leaf shaped blade.

Coyote, the threads are so you can place a flash hider on the barrel. You can buy one for about $27 from Samco Global. I'm not willing to pay $800 for a Swede, but I'd need to know more about your particular rifle to get a sense of its value.

How does the recoil assembly fit into all this? The pic of it in the latest Gun Digest ( for the milling machine company) indicates a non-standard recoil assembly..

No and don't want to. Would prefer to rifle hunt hogs as I do not want to put the dogs at risk. I fully support hog hunting though--they're destructive pests. I just have no desire to hunt over dogs, or kill the hog with a knife.

What ever pistol feels right in your hands and that you also shoot well. I like Browning HIgh Powers, Springfield XD45's and Ruger GP100's, and of course a good 1911.
