I don't shoot it because steel ammo is not allowed on the range I use. I have 400 rounds in the safe. 200 from last week and 200 from a few years back. It is good for stock since I cant shoot it so it stays put.
I think it is a good thing that the shield mag will not eject easily by pressing the mag release when it is full. Mine is that way as well. Never had it pop out while carrying.
Houge makes nice Sig grips. Have 3 pairs. Minor to no fitting. No logo and not lasered. Very nice. Look great. Put rosewood on the blue 230. Great gun for 18 years.
I went with the shield in 9 but my P239 is a "better" gun. Just not a 9, a 40/.357. A little on the large side for me for EDC but mote accurate and pretty. No failures ever in either to date related to the gun. They are in the rotation along with a pair of .380s: P230 and an M&P BG.
I think a reasonable number approximates your age.
Ok, make that a minimum number. I am not close to retirement but plan to reach a very, very old age.
I've had my CCL for about a month with zero affect on the crime rate. It was a much worse winter than last year. The two before that were extremely mild. They will make up for it in the summer. Top Cop Streetlight McCarthy claims his policing strategies should be credited. Come August he will...
I just received an SOG P64 and it is nice. A little light wear at the muzzle is all. The import marks are large and rough however. And the Wolff spring kit is required. The DA pull is awful.
I'm no ballistics expert and I don't reload. I own all the common and many less common calibers. My long time favorite is a W German Sig 226 9mm. My primary carry is a Sig 239 .40 in which I prefer to shoot and carry loaded with .357 SIG.
I read what is posted about +p+ = .357 sig but for us...
SOG
I would say the M57 Tok is the best. The cz50 was very nice. In rifles the M44 and Manlichers. I would avoid the you go SKS they are very rough. Bought all these within 2-4 months.
