Mr. malt, Very nice indeed!! I have 15 quick-changes for my 650 and people always tell me I don't need quick-changes when I can just change over dies...it's all perspective. Some folks spend their money on more than one car, some have several ATVs.... One of these days I'm going to really set...

Charlie, Very well done. I'm right with you regarding conversion kits. I have several for my 650 and 550. The quick changes are pretty slick. I'm in process for several new benches in my new reloading area....plan to have some shelving made to accommodate easy reaching for the quick...

hoarder busting? an interesting approach by a business

Atldave, Interesting thoughts. I agree with you and think it's a fine idea. I wish Wally would do it.....limit the buyer to two per week. Man would that put a crimp in the scalpers business! Bob

    Making a steel target

I certainly respect your comments and replies. It seems funny to me that after twenty-five plus instructors and untold range-masters....helping with numerous "Bullets & Brats" and many many other shooting events....I've not been faced down with these concerns. Not once. These guys have...

    Making a steel target

Hmmmm...been shooting these for 17 years. Funny thing, no reported deaths. The only injuries....sunburn. We always wear safety glasses and ear protection. Somehow we have muddled through. It's a matter of using good judgement while at the range. All shooters are told the rules. Targets are...

    Making a steel target

CJ, Here is a link to a reply I made on another thread. I work for a construction equipment dealership and have lots of ideas for steel targets. I like the gas tanks for handgun/low velocity and hard steel for rifles. Bob http://www.thehighroad.org/showthread.php?t=746336

Sounds and looks like a great day at the range! Don't forget the eye and ear protection. Be safe and have fun. Bob

    Making shoot and see targets

I like steel targets. Old gas (oxygen) tanks cut in different lengths make great "bells". Steel from old cutting edges (old grader blades, loader bucket edges etc). Try picking these up from construction equipment dealers or contractors in your area. Plate racks are gonna cost more than...

    Collecting WWII Infantry firearms

This would be my short list for cartridge U.S. rifles...a good shooter but they need to look good too... Springfield Trapdoor Krag Rifle 1903 A1 (or A3) Model of 1917 Savage Enfield No.4 Mk. 1 M1 Garand M1 Carbine AR-15 I even like these....

Ronno, Wow, and I thought I "had it bad"!! With three presses, I'm not even in your league! However, I must admit, I do have a "few" quick-changes for my 650 that indicates I too have the "bug" Bob
