I own 22lr and 22mag rifles. I love the 22 mag round and find it very fun to shoot but it really serves no purpose outside of niche hunting situations. Like rimfire coyote, certain pest control, or possibly squirrels.
22 mag also isn't going to inherently be more accurate at close range or...
I agree with the savage model 11 hog hunter. I have a 223 and 308 that are both about 10 years old with a blind mag, 20" barrel, and threaded.
Ruger american predator also comes to mind
There wouldn't be a court case was my point.
Federal law allows you to liquidate your own property without any license. The law is clear.
I can't even find any case where this has happened UNLESS the person was specifically and conspicuously selling ammo as a business or strictly for income...
Right. It says right there if they engage in selling for purpose of livelihood. Same as selling firearms .
Federal law defines all of this further if you get into the details. Such as defining the principle objective being livelihood and that there must be a regular course of trade and so on...
According to ATF you only need a license if you sell your manufactured ammo for purpose of livelihood.
Similar to selling firearms private party. You don't need a license to sell unless you are doing it for the sole purpose of livelihood.
Or, outside of thr ATF, similar to selling cars. You...
This sounds like it would be a Ruger issue. Also sounds like you might need to take ownership and complete the transfer before sending it back.
That said.... my old FFL would ask me to inspect new firearms before filling out the 4473. Even for transfers. I have no doubt he would have worked...
This is one of many weird situations when it comes to drugs.
Delta 9 is federally illegal. However, a person can grow the plant producing it if it is under Ike .3% by weight. (It is considered hemp at that point)
Basically, if you need to get a drug screening you will fail if you have used...
You might find this info helpful. This guy is a top F class shooter and Texas long range champion 3? Years in a row.

My understanding is that we didn't need a license in Kansas to hunt our own land...
I pulled this from a state website
"...a valid Kansas hunting license is required of all residents age 16 through 74 and all nonresidents, except persons hunting on their own land. "
I agree with you. That statement is overused and misunderstood (like 'the customer is always right ' but that's another rant)
There is obviously a point of diminished returns when it comes to rifle, optics, skills, ammo, etc. But the arrow DEFINITELY matters.
I usually use Lee load dippers and weigh each charge on my hornady dispenser or a beam scale.
I also use the Lee powder dispenser sometimes.
My hornady is about 10 years old and has always been finicky. It does work well most of the time but I also don't love it near as much as I thought I...
Action wrench and a set of matching Go/No-Go gauges is what most barrel companies recommend. Most companies don't recommend using a barrel vise.
That said...a lot of guys just use a barrel vise and a no go gauge.
I have purchased ammo before that was "factory new" from a private seller . Boxes and cartridges looked good and nothing raised any flags.
Then I shot it....lol. The guy was passing off inconsistent handloads as new ammo.
It is basically impossible to determine if ammo is factory new or not.
