Any other runners: what do you carry?

If you can run in neoprene shorts and can find the right ones, the tight pockets are enough to keep a micro 380 from moving around and you can wear normal lightweight shorts on top. Some pockets even zip closed if needed. Might work for a P365 but that may be pushing it. It's not ideal in terms...

Buy AP5 or wait for right SP5 deal?

They have slightly different features and build style. The AP5 is more of a retro version and the SP5 is a more modern version. I would get the version you would enjoy more or that better fits your planned use for the weapon. The good news is that I don't think you can go wrong either way.

    USP Compact

I carried an HK USPc 40 LEM as a Federal LEO. 20K rounds before I had to turn it in, used in various training with exactly zero failures. It's still the only pistol I've carried that I can say that about, but to be fair, we only used premium ammo that I didn't have to pay for. Still a great...

    Semi-auto MP5 Variants

I have the MKE (currently imported by Century, previously by Zenith) and love it. I think the 3 versions mentioned will all do fine. In my opinion, get the MKE if you want a 70s/80s era version. Get the PTR if you want US made or if you like their modernizations. Get the HK if you appreciate...

    Yugoslavian 59/66 SKS

I would pay $600 for it in a heartbeat. Which means that's definitely too low.

2021 - Do you have a light on your carry pistol?

Yes. Much like SharpDog, I have a TLR-6 on my P365. Since I'm not the aggressor, I don't get to pick the time or place of any confrontations. So even though I do my best to avoid stupid places at stupid times, the light is a must for me.

    Rounds Impacting Left Of POA?

This. And pick up a cheap bore laser. Watch the laser on a target while you dry fire. You'll likely learn a lot about your grip and trigger pull.

best option to mount a RDS on a 1911

Something to keep in mind is that the "full size" RMR sized red dots will be a good bit wider than the slide. Depending on needs/wants you may want to consider the "mini" size RMSc sizes also. You give up viewing area but they will fit the slide width better. Kind of depends on what you plan to...

    Weird AR fail.

If the new receiver end plate is too thick it can prevent the buffer tube from screwing in far enough to retain the pin and spring. And if the buffer tube is already a hair short or the retainer hole is just a bit forward you can quickly run into tolerance stacking issues.

Which gen is this Glock 30.....

The G30S uses the G30SF frame and the frame is marked "SF", slide marked "30S", at least all the ones I've seen and owned. So this looks like a standard G30SF with a replacement barrel. I'm not seeing anything that makes it a G30S. Great gun. I hope you enjoy it.

    Sig P320 M18 Carry

Congrats on the new gun. Between the Wilson Combat, Polymer 80, Lima laser grip, and laser-sculpted grips, the new Sigs really allow a lot of options to turn it into exactly what works for you.

1911 hammer bite, and other 1911 questions

I've had great luck with the Springfield Armory mags in all of my .45 1911s. I own about 15 of their mags and they've all been 100%

    .40s&w pistol longevity and reliability

My duty H&K USP Compact had over 20k rounds through it when I turned it in. It looked brand new in every way except some of the finish from the holster. I wish I had been able to purchase that one but I went out and bought one just like it. I'm sure it would wear out at some point but I...
