I just got the threaded version of the Victory today....runs great, very reliable, seems to be accurate( rainy day- shooting steel off the porch)...trigger is good out of the box. So far, I'm very happy.

I've been around this game for about 25 years, and ammo is not going to get much cheaper than it is right now.....if you want to stock up, now is the time. Best, Will

Trent, If you want a 308..then more power to you. I have both 308's and 6.5's.....yes, you can shoot 308's for SLIGHTLY less $$$$ than 6.5 CM's....and 308 will certainly give you better barrel life....no doubt. But.... For slightly more ammo cost, and for less BBL life, you can shoot 6.5...

I have .260's, 6.5CM's, and 6.5 Swede's....frankly, I can't tell the difference when shooting them. They all have killed game cleanly for me....they are all crazy accurate. The Swede was the easiest to find an accurate handload for....but, its been around longer. They all have good brass...

I've had GREAT performance out of 2 Lilja 6.5 G barrels, but they are 19.5". Still gets me MOA to a grand.....must be doing something right!
