Question for you. I have a Dan Wesson Classic Bobtail and just saw the new Valor at my local gun shop. I really liked the finish on the Valor, and the shop said it was a bead blasted finish.
My question is can I get a similar finish on my Classic from a good metal shop, or will I be...
I'm at the gun shop today looking for a new .45 and it's cold enough to have my favorite leather jacket on. Well I see a nice Springfield and bring it into a classic isosceles and realize my arms are jacket bound at the elbows! Then it occurs to me that I carry in the jacket all winter long...
I spoke with Vicky at Springfield this morning. She says it dates to October 1987, and is in their book as, "Pistol, Blued. 1990's Addition."
That's all she could tell me about it, but since it is blued then it was not re-finished most likely... I am not sure what I was looking for from...

Are you open carrying at work? Do you have a permit to conceal? I only ask because if there are no company policies or posted bans in the building then I would just conceal and follow a "don't ask, don't tell" philosophy here.

Mp7 Thanks, It is one of my favorites.
I had a spreadsheet on it, but now I cannot find it. If starting with an AR already you have the Barrel / Gas Tube Cost (300) Bolt re-size cost (25), and Magwell adaptor cost (125) To that you will need PPSH mags (10 ea) and you are all set.
I...
JC, that was my thought too after I read your results (thanks again for trying), lathe the rear chamber and base the 0.022" and then re-size the remaining, but I agree it's far too much work when there are pre-made out there. My new plan is to get 50-100 carbine blanks, then police my brass as...
Thanks JC. I reciently inherited a huge collection of reloading equipment, and am looking for 30 carbine blanks so I put 1+1 and got 3...
Really appreciate you trying for me though.

What is the limit you can "re-size" brass cartrages? I am looking to make blank ammo for my 30 carbine using .223 ammo cases. The .223 is 0.022" or (0.59mm) larger than the standard 30 Carbine case.
Is this too much for a resizer to handle? Is it too much to mill off and still have a...
It's a TT33 and a great shooter in my opinion. Not all of them have stars on the grips, I have one that has one on the right grip and none on the left.
