    Check out Ruger's ARX SD Ammo to use with the LC9S. It is getting good reviews and makes sense for these light 9's. Not saying it is the end all be all of self defense ammo, just that it penetrates well, disperses its energy in the target and it's low recoil while doing this seems tailor made...

    What Pistol do you carry.

    LC9S with the 9 round magazine. 10 rounds of the Ruger ARX +P ammo. Thin. Light. Conceals well with a "Florida" shirt. Before that was the SR9C but the difference in weight between the 10 round SR9C and the 9 round LC9S is, to me, astounding.

    Home defence: 20 vs 12 gau. Opinions?

    I use a Mossberg 500 Youth model in 20 gauge because it just handles so much better and I happen to have a couple laying around. I could get an adjustable stock and short barrel for my 12 and get the same effect but I am el cheapo.
