I've used a Lee powder measure for 6 years and it throws consistent charges with most pistol powders. Rifle powders are a little trickier. But I usually weigh each charge anyway. For 20$ you can't beat it.

Neat idea. I'm don't think it would be better than my LCP. I a pocket holster in my pocket,I can deploy and fire with in a micro second. No buttons to push. Of course,if you wear yoga pants I could see a benefit. No one would want me to wear yoga pants.

I like that idea.I thought about adapting it to a decaper.I know a machinst who could modify it. The lamp idea sounds right up my alley .My grandaughter thinks it is a very elaborate finger pincher.

Thank y'all so much for your help. I don't mess with shot shells ; so , anyone have any creative ideas I could use it for ? It looks like 7/8 thread where the die goes. Don't think I would be able to use a shell holder without some sort of adapter. Or if any wants to swap for some dies or something.

Just got a email from Ruger. They have came out with a rimfire version; has the 10/22 rotary mag. I bought a Ruger American in 7mm08 and really like it. Looks like I might have to get it a little brother.

Wasn't the forward assist intended to fully engage the bolt if the chamber was cruddy or something similar?Not to hammer in a round. I've had .22 semi that a little assist from time to time. We were trained to palm the assist after chamfering the first round and I don't recall ever using it...
