I use a Canon Rebel XSi with an extended battery grip. The lens was a 70-200mm f/2.8 USM with image stabilization. I have that sitting on a Manfrotto 055XPROB Tripod and a Manfrotto 488RC2 ball head. I had a bare Canon 580EX II speedlight behind me for the rim light, and a 10", 8" and 6"...

Thanks, Tommy... I was actually trying to keep the focus off of the details of my face because 1) I'm ugly and 2) I wanted to focus more on the retrospection and the separation between the mind and the gun.
