I couldn't be happier with my recently purchased Pietta 1851 Navy .36 cal. Fit and finish are great- The timing on it is spot on perfect.
I'm saving up for a set of Buffalo Bros Hickok grips for it!

Cabela's has their Pietta 1860, with the extra cylinder, on-sale for $229.99. Plus, they have an on-line discount code for an extra $20 off.
Just a heads up,

Ditto on the cig papers. Been using them for years, and super easy to find.
I used to get the same looks from the clerk behind the counter too- Thinking Im gonna use them for wacky weed. I finally took a box of my completed paper cartridges in with me one day to show them what I was...
This came in todays mail- My first gun purchase in over 3 years!
It's a Pietta 1851 Navy in .36 cal. Of all the black powder guns I've owned, this is my very 1st 1851.

I love my rifles in original military configuration, But I'm really starting to appreciate the well done post war sporters too.
I remember watching that episode too, but I can't remember the name of the program. It is on the same channel as Doomsday Preppers.
I was interested in the knife too, but didn't catch it's name. The guy was using it as an axe, pulling nails out with it, etc..... Looked like a very useful...
