Al Thompson,
I just looked at the mechtechsys website. That would be kind of neat. You would think the FiveseveN with 20 rounds would be appealing to them.
I'm not ready to start linking to mfgs yet (new guy), but take a look at thier CCU flyer link (bottom of the home page) for an...
mons meg,
Some people (cough, cough) have the bulk to hide an entire tape drive on thier right hip. No names (cough, cough), just some people in general.

Dave R,,
Don't worry about hijacking, I'm not sure we knew were the tread was going in the first place.
I can see the beady little eyes of the p. dogs every time I pick up one of these rounds. A few options:
1. Check out rhinelandarms.com (mentioned before). They are working on some...
Onmilo,
I did get my rig from bladetech and I could not be more pleased. The gun plus the hoslter don't weigh much more them my Moto T900 pager - so I never even notice the load.
Well,
Send me your ammo when it gets it. I promise to shoot it up ASAP!
:)
Seriously, you gotta do what you gotta do. Just shoot a MrkII .22 - that's what the recoil would have felt like (assuming your gun would have have worked).
Obiwan,
OK. I agree completly about the long range defensive shooting. I just can't see when I would shoot humans that far away with a handgun. However, it's very fun to pull the FiveseveN out at the rifle range and pepper targets at 75yards. But it's not that much of a defensive virture...

And Watson, Ballistol does smell bad, but lots of good things smell odd. Like rurbarb pie.

Jim Watson,
I like haging around here becase I never fail to learn stuff. I blame that attractive TA in chemestry class. I would have learnd more if I had not been daydreaming about her.

I have been using Ballistol on the action and barrel (I know it's hydrocarbon-free, but don't ask me about trichloroethylene). The Glock guys have been using this for many years. My father brought some back from the Korean War in little tins, but you can buy it new today.
Some other "glock...
You may get someone good by calling them - they have always helped me out.
Here's what I've been doing: a complete disassebly to remove the barrel (not at all hard - p35 of the manual). Now that I have the barrel alone (all metal) of course I can use Hoppes. However, I have never used it...
The beauty about learning to hunt is that 90% can be done off-season without a gun. Spend a lot of time in the woods (swamps) as you can. Get a feel for the still and scury.
A mentor would be great, but don't be put off if you can't find one. American men are not as great as we could be...
