One feature on some of the polymer striker handguns that you might like is the ability to change backstraps (or frames) to create a custom fit to your hand.
I have the Hornady Powder Cop and RCBS lock out die. I prefer the Hornady because it’s easier to set up and adjust.
Since you are running a six station press, the lock out die might be better because you don’t have to visually check it. Six stations is a lot going on at once.
I’ve got the 9mm compact American. It’s a soft shooter. I originally purchased it when they came on the market as a “do it all” gun for carry, nightstand, and range. It’s a little heavy for carry by today’s standards but it still gets a lot of range time.
It’s also possible that you were just having an off day. Were you missing targets that you typically hit with the Sig? Or was this the first time you have used the Sig under the stress of competition?
