    Range report: S&W 37 airweight

I bought one of the new RSR 37's last year and loved it. I liked it so much I went out and bought another!

Why are people so passionate about 1911's?

It's a good question, one that sometimes defies logic (at least in my case). So far I have had 5 1911s (a Kimber, a S&W, and three Colts) and four of them had to go back to the factory because of serious functional problems (the fifth, a Colt 80 series is new and I haven't shot yet). I bought a 1911sc a couple of weeks ago. Saturday I put 150 rounds of 230 grain hardball through it. I think it was very pleasent to shoot. I don't think the muzzle flip was bad at all.
