Sportsman's Warehouse had some pistol ammo in stock today if you need 40S&W, 10mm, 44mag. No 9mm or 38special. They also had a few boxes of large rifle primers.

It does seem somewhat random. Maybe it is just based on what they can get away with or some sort of cost averaging? The HazMat change on a Cabela's order earlier this year was $20.

I think that https://ammoseek.com/ is what most of the kids are using these days to check and see when primers are in stock. But, it seems like you really have to jump on them when they become available, otherwise they will sell out on you.

I wonder if you could use this on brass headstamps to make the letters/numbers easier to read?

I'd lean towards the M1A and FAL as being far from inadequate. For general use, they were in some ways almost too much rifle, kind of falling into that "gearing up for the last war" groove. Currently though, they are increasingly hard to come by at a reasonable cost and ammo is getting more...

One is a small knife for detailed work that the kukri is just too big and choppy to do. The other is for sharpening.
