So you think you might be getting set up

Additionally...I would ask him directly what his deal is IN THOSE MOMENTS you describe where he gets a look or you sense a "vibe" you don't like. A well-placed "WHY?" works wonders and leaves him thinking "I wonder what he thought I meant?".

So you think you might be getting set up

I'm trying to put myself in your shoes mentally speaking by thinking of a couple guys we know that have the potential for doing similar things you suspect him to be capable of. Bottom line is you just DON'T KNOW outside of your BEST GUESS. Secure your belongings within your budget. Eaves...

    Range Rules & Etiquette

That can be impractical at most ranges. All firing lines I have ever been on gave each shooter a maximum of 3' x 3' of space, most with walls to the left and right. There is no way to safely un case a rifle from a hard case that contains multiple other firearms in those circumstances...

    Range Rules & Etiquette

Range "rules" Being in Massachusetts we have some pretty tough rules and are used to restrictions. As such our ranges are governed by codes of conduct, and most ranges "test" you before issuing a key. MOST folks (95%) follow them very well. I agree with those rules you posted, in...

    Mossberg 590 (info)

I have an older Model 88 with a 20" barrel and heat shield. It's almost exactly the same...full length mag tube and all. I love it. Also have a 500 Tactical with 18" barrel and collaps stock. They are both great shotguns. I would buy it without hesitation.

    How to mark your cases

Tracking number of times a case is reloaded I don't track ALL my 9mm cases, but I do have one that I colored the whole head stamp with black permanent marker. Every time it comes through the inspection process I mark it on a calendar. On reload number 6 now. Other than that, cases come...

Why is the Lee so CHEAP!

In my experience thus far, I have a Dillon Square Deal, a Lee slug mold and a Lee Load All 2. Apples to oranges product wise, but comparing quality and performance the Lee wins hands down as far as value for the dollar. Don't get me wrong, I love my Dillon and will use it for YEARS to...

    home defense shot gun

I have been thrilled with the Mossberg TALO edition I picked up last fall. No problems what so ever and definitely the shotgun I want if the SHTF. 18" barrel, ammo storage on the stock, collapsible stock, door breacher "standoff" barrel. It's the "balls". You can see it in the gallery on...

    How much for 9mm?............

Average gun shop price in MA for 9mm has been about $16 for a while. Occasionally you can get WW Blazer for $9. However, prices at the gun shops for target 9mm has been dropping to $13 just in the past few weeks.

    Which press to purchase?

The Square Deal looks to be about $200 less than the 650. http://www.dillonprecision.com/#/Dillon_Reloading_Machines-8-1.html I would've bought a Lee last year but they were backordered. I'm very happy with the Square Deal though. Mostly 9mm and I can get 50 rounds in about 10 min...

Girlfriend can't work slide on semi-auto handgun.

Hi Jake, My wife has extremely small bone structure and as a result her hands are not that strong...she can't pull most MA triggers on new guns as a result...unless they are 22's. I find your post interesting as about the ONLY gun she could rack and pull the trigger on were Glock 17's. Of...

    "IWB" holster ?

I prefer the clip for ease of putting on and taking off. With a little practice one can learn to "open" the clip and slip right over even a thick gun belt. I have holsters with loops...and to be honest have started wearing my IWB at 5 oclock in situation when I'd normally go OWB on the...

When do we use the 2nd Amendment

That is one of my biggest bones of contention regarding the ownership of arms for rebellion against the government. We're not talking men against men with muskets and cannons. We're talking semi-automatic rifles, shotguns and pistols against laser guided smart bombs and drones. If the SHTF...

    Carrying +1

There is no "wrong" in personal choice. The "wrong" part comes from your disagreement which is a direct result of your personal choice conflicting with mine. Tactically, it works for me and that is pretty much all I care about. That and imparting my point of view for those who ask.

When do we use the 2nd Amendment

This seems like a good time to post this. I read it CLOSELY for the first time not too long ago. Check out the underlined portion... The Declaration of Independence: A Transcription IN CONGRESS, July 4, 1776. The unanimous Declaration of the thirteen united States of America, When...
