I had the same itch as you a couple years ago. I ended up getting a used 28" Belgian made Winchester 101 for $800 with 5 chokes. If you look you can find another. Lord know I do, my Wife took a liking to it, so its not my gun anymore =)

I love me some RMR. One of the few places I can buy bulk flat nosed 9mm that aren't just lead. Add in the great prices, deals and fast shipping. Its about the only place I buy projectiles now. Now, If I could convince them to make some .451 bullets that would hold up to a Hot .460S&W load....

It will likely not hold zero well on a centerfire. BUT, I listing as an Airgun scope means it can handle to odd backwards recoil they have, most scopes cant to that.

Abandoning a proprietary round is kinda Remington's go to move.

A few years ago there was an incident with one of those guns at a local range. The gun was on the bench, loaded, but facing sideways (poor form, I know). No one within 3 feet of the gun. It fires off a round and hits the person in the next lane. So, yes. It is as bad as the word says.

My nickel 19-4 (K-Frame) snubby is probably the best .357 trigger. But the best revolver trigger I have is my X-Frame.

I agree. This is a result Remingtons continued decline in quality. This is the fallout from the likes of the Marlin buyout and the R51 rollout (just to name a couple) coming back to bite them in the ass.

Hi all. I've been a lurker around here for quite some time, figured it's high time I make an account. I'm a competative shooter, IDPA, IPSC, 3-Gun and Carbine. Recently got into clays. I reload, but mainly to keep cost down, not to get super accuracy (but it does help.)
