I have a Yugo SKS. I'd like to put something like a Tapco stock on it, or some similar "tactical" stock. I also have a very nice PK-A red dot that went with an AK I used to own, and want to use it with my SKS. It mounts on the side as with most old Soviet bloc rifles. Tapco doesn't seem to offer an SKS stock with that side mount. Anyone know of another option?

Soviet side mounts attach to the receiver not the stock. Stocks are not a normal or great place to mount a scope. The link RC posted might be the best way to go. Receiver cover mounts are pretty useless. Not that it matters most ch on a SKS.

RC & D2, many thanks...best option I've seen so far. I'll keep y'all posted on the decision and how it turns out.
