NRA is offering Life Member at $300.

I'm grateful to THR Membership for getting me hooked in as a Life Member at a discount rate a number of years ago, and want to share the good fortune.

Here's the $300 Life Member Rate Link

I hope some of you are in a position to come aboard.

Thank you.

Word around the net is they offered it yesterday evening but for a very limited time....anybody know the truth? I see where people are saying they got the deal. Really sorry I missed it, I would have bought one for my grandsons Christmas....probably one for another person now that I think about it. Website says 1K this morning...

Sorry fellas, the link was alive and well last night when I posted it up.
I know a few dozen folks who were able to act on it.
Sorry for the trouble. Be safe.

I just accessed the other link and there is no $300 life membership; it's a $500 half-price life membership. If there's another location where it says $300 please let me know where it is.

More's the pity; I think I would have bought it were it the $300 life membership, but I won't do the $500 one. If I were 30 years old I might do that but I'm just a tiny bit older than that. :)

It is currently $500 which is half price, but next year the Life Membership will go up to $1500 so buying now will save you $1000 over next years price.

BUY ONE NOW!!!

Just seeing full price at $1000.

I got my Life awhile back but I was going to share the link

Just did the $500 Easy Pay Life Membership... been meaning to upgrade, the price increase was the straw on the camel's back. Thanks for the reminder.

I'm not seeing the $500 life membership....only the $1000 life membership.

Did you check nra2016.org? It uses your current credentials to make you an offer. I just tried logging back in and it tells me nothing is available since I upgraded last night.

I received this message this morning. But it appears to be only for Life Members willing to upgrade to Endowment Members for$200, an $800 discount.

By upgrading your Life Membership to NRA Endowment Member status today for just $200, you'll save $800 off the new membership rate that begins on January 1st

Did you know they have a "Distinguished Life Membership" for $375? It's a little bit more than the $300 deal, but it's also payable on installments as opposed to one lump sum as well. https://joinnra.nra.org/join/Distinguished.aspx

This number came from Tom Gresham of Guntalk radio fame

They have to call the number: 888-678-7894

I got this same email. I am considering it. Just because the NRA is going to need all the help they can get with the election next year. I am just curious if there is any benefit included with the "endowment life member" other than the title? Not that it matters, I'm just curious more than anything else.

nra2016.org does have the option for a $500 Life Membership. You have to sign in with your NRA credentials (set it up if you haven't- it's easy). You just need your member ID.

Thanks to this thread I just became a Life Member. Now I can look forward to the NRA calling 7 times a week asking for more money!

That said, I recently wrote the NRA and said that they need to rethink how they court existing members. I suggested they stop pitching crap gear made in China and engage on different level those ideologically aligned with the NRA mission. Surprisingly they responded and said they'd stop the calls and incessant pleas for money if requested. I hope this is the case. I plan to engage with the NRA on a substantive level and I'll keep donating, both of my time and money.
