They make a ringed version for clip in too (what I run on my AR, M lok handguard).

If you don't want to mount on your gas block rail you can also use something like this that mounts in the handguard vents.

I've never used the above so no idea how well they stay in place.

If you are planning on doing any upgrades to the handguard, most of them will have the ability to attach sling loops, QD mounts similar to the Magpul MOE handguards.

No issues noted, works well, well made. Great option for those that can't or don't want to switch out hand guards.
