need some advice on a few things.

I purchased a savage axis 1 223 with sporter barrel and topped with a $100 bushnell 3-9-40 scope. I later upgraded to the axis with heavy barrel and accu trigger and better scope. Part of me says I don't need this gun anymore to sell it but the other part says hang onto it cause I may need to let someone else barrow it or use it for something. if I did decided to sell it what would be a good price for this setup? no rust, etc.

I also have a cva Optima Muzzleloader that has been through the ringer with TC 3-9-40 scope. they make a newer model with better features and part of me says sell my old one for the new one. part of me says I only use the thing 3 times a year so why get a new one. if I was to sell this being in good condition what would be a good price?

My buddy sold his heavy barrel AR-15 with Nikon scope, case, mags, etc to gandermountain and they low balled him at like $500 even though said and done when he bought it was like 2k with everything. just looking for advice.

Custom modifications to guns are a lot like custom mods to cars,.in the end the modifications.are worth more to seller than the buyer. In the end it is pretty much just a used Axis with some improvements. You would do well to get $300 to $350.

As for your friends AR, AR15 prices are at an all time low. A lot folks are hanging on to panic buy $2500 ARs that are only worth $800 NIB.

Gander is a retail store, they need to buy it at wholesale to sell it at retail.

Sell it yourself, either through your local classifieds or through a gun club you belong to, or through forums like these.
