Hello all,

This may be a stupid question, but I can't find it anywhere. I have a Colt 1911 series 1991 in 9mm, it has a non-ramped 5" barrel. I was looking for a non-ramped threaded barrel for it and I can't find one. I can find ramped threaded barrel but not the non-ramped.

Anyone know where I can find one?

Thanks

Might try contacting Storm Lake or Nowlin Gun Barrel to see if they can make a non-ramped threaded barrel for you.

Bar-sto... their 9mm thread cut is 1/2 x 28, you can get it in non-ramped, bushing or bull.

This is what my barrel looks like. It doesn't look like the unramped barrel on my kimber but it doesn't look like a full ramped barrel either. So what is it?

Looks like a standard non-ramped barrel to me. After looking around online at a number of barrel makers (Kart, Clark, Wilson, Ed Brown, Nighthawk, and STI), it would appear that only Bar-Sto and maybe Briley Manufacturing make a 9mm. non-ramped threaded barrel.
