Its hard to beat a wheel gun, a slipjoint knife, and a fountain pen. I failed to take a pic of my pocket watch and metal matchstick holder. Does anyone else edc old school?
It's a stereotype that only the "old guys" know about revolvers. Things are changing. There are those who appreciate making rounds count and the timeless reliability of the personal defense revolver, and they aren't always the same people waiting at the Wal-Mart gun counter at 7AM each morning waiting on the lady to wheel out the cart of .22LR!
Just hit 40, always been into wheel guns. Recently convinced the old man to put down them new fangled autos and try a wheel out. Not sure he is convinced yet, but at least he has one now.
I just turned 63 and I'm still carrying .44 Spl. wheelguns - almost 30 years now. I haven't found anything available in a snub that beats the .44 Spl. While I love 1911s and have built them and competed with them for many years I still prefer a snub big bore for business use.
