What if guns were banned?

The Second Amendment is constantly under attack. When Billary wins the presidency, we all know she will try everything in her power to destroy the Second Amendment. As long as Republicans control at least the house or senate, we should be able to keep most of her nonsense at bay. However if we lose the house and senate, there is no telling what those clowns will try and pull.

In the case that a law is enacted that bans guns, what do you think that would look like? With how many guns are currently in the US, I believe enforcement, especially confiscation would be nearly impossible. However, if they decided to confiscate guns, what would happen? I always her lots of talk about "come and take it" or "they can have my gun muzzle end first." However, should confiscation happen, I suspect most people will do one of two things: 1. Hide their guns and continue to use them or 2. Follow instructions and surrender their guns. Most gun people are law-abiding citizens. I do not foresee mass rebellion or a call to arms. I see most people abiding by whatever the law is or simply not complying, but not risking life and/or arrest by fighting against the government.

That said, while liberals will do unspeakable things, I do not think a total ban, especially on that includes confiscation is likely. However, I will not put anything past them. Should they do such a thing, what do you thing would happen?

I agree. When that Evil Clinton Woman gets elected she will in fact do everything she can to destroy the Second Amendment.

And we will fight that in every way that we can.

It will be ugly, but we will survive.

Oh, and "In Before The Lock".

If she gets elected, and if congress puts a gun ban bill on her desk, and she signs it, she will have effectively started a second revolution. Expect massive noncompliance, massive civil disobedience, and expect the GOP to dominate D.C. for a long time there after.

ETA:
I don't see a complete and total gun ban bill even getting out of committee. It'd have to be done incrementally, like how it was done in Europe and Australia. It'll take a long time to pass muster, SCOTUS level challenges are guaranteed (and by the time it gets there, who knows what the bench will look like).

The Anti's have their work cut out for them, and it's going to be a long, hard battle. The D's had the Trifecta back in '08-'10, and didn't even approach gun control. Then after Sandy Hook, gun control had no traction. They need the support of the people, and they simply are in the minority right now. gun control is not on people's minds. That can change in an instant, but given the influx of new shooters and record setting gun sales in the past few years, I just don't see any major gun control on the federal level gaining any traction. The Obama Executive Actions on gun control, version 2.0, did next to nothing. ATF 41P/F is getting mixed reviews, but we'll see what goes on after its actually implemented.

Hillary is establishment, people don't trust her, as evidenced by the massive popularity of Bernie Sanders. She'd be an Obama 3rd term, by and large, and people have seen through his act and are disgusted by her, Millenials especially. Being a woman simply isn't going to cut it. But, she's connected and deep rooted in the establishment system, which is why despite losing the popular votes in the primaries, she's still collecting all the delegates. People see that and are confused by it, angered by it, and it may well show come the general election. Too bad the GOP can't get their act together.

But, I'm glad to see Gary Johnson actually hitting double digits in some polls.

Americans aren't Australians. Expect a run on 4" PVC pipe and end caps followed by massive noncompliance.

How many posts will make it in?

Too late for that, you did it in the paragraph before this one. The thread is also bordering on a fantasy thread, and is largely alarmist nonsense, so there's that too. Don't expect it to stay up long.
