The Second Amendment is constantly under attack. When Billary wins the presidency, we all know she will try everything in her power to destroy the Second Amendment. As long as Republicans control at least the house or senate, we should be able to keep most of her nonsense at bay. However if we lose the house and senate, there is no telling what those clowns will try and pull.
In the case that a law is enacted that bans guns, what do you think that would look like? With how many guns are currently in the US, I believe enforcement, especially confiscation would be nearly impossible. However, if they decided to confiscate guns, what would happen? I always her lots of talk about "come and take it" or "they can have my gun muzzle end first." However, should confiscation happen, I suspect most people will do one of two things: 1. Hide their guns and continue to use them or 2. Follow instructions and surrender their guns. Most gun people are law-abiding citizens. I do not foresee mass rebellion or a call to arms. I see most people abiding by whatever the law is or simply not complying, but not risking life and/or arrest by fighting against the government.
That said, while liberals will do unspeakable things, I do not think a total ban, especially on that includes confiscation is likely. However, I will not put anything past them. Should they do such a thing, what do you thing would happen?
Please stay on subject and, while politics are integral to this discussion, please do not turn this thread into a purely political discussion and get it closed. There are relevant things to discuss and we live in a tumultuous day and age where there is a very real threat to gun ownership.
