What is the last gun that you bought?

1858 Remington repro. The upside is that it takes so long to reload, a range day doesn't cost so much. The downside is that it takes so long to load, because everyone that sees it wants to try it...

Been wanting one of these for a long time, a Rossi R92-52001 in .45 Colt, 24" octagonal barrel, blued receiver. Cash has been a problem, so I've been looking for the best price. Every place I've found them has been out of stock, so I called Rossi USA. They said all versions of the 24" octagonal barrelled rifles have been discontinued, whatever's left out there is what there is!

A LGS here has one, but the sights are canted to the right just a tad. Might shoot OK, but that would bug me forever so I passed. BUT, they also had the same rifle, only in stainless. A little higher priced too, but hey, it was in my hands! Sights and function were perfect, looked great, and they do layaway.

So, got it on layaway. Looks just like this.

Still buying

...LR 308 Upper one piece at a time. Barrel is on order at a LGS. Receiver, ejection port cover and fwd assist on order from two different online retailers.

It's going to get pinned onto a LR 308 lower I already own so not really a "new" gun.

The last complete firearm purchase was also a build but from the ground up (AR-15 format Grendel 6.5 18" barrel).

My wife's last purchase was also her first - Ruger LC9s.

Have a Taurus PT111 G2 (Dec 2015), then got a Taurus TCP (Jan 2016).

Wanted a a fun/play around plinker to KILL diet soda cans like Hickok45!!!!!!

Got a Phoenix Arms HP22A Nickel (May 2016).

I just got these after winning them in an on-line live auction. These are part of the early Colt C model 2nd gen 1851 Navies that were assembled at the Hartford plant. Specifically--the R. E. Lee and U. S. Grant cased sets with matched serial numbers. Having been released 45 years ago, pairs with matching serial numbers in this condition don't come up very often.

My last was an H&R Single Barrel Topper 20 gauge, 28" barrel and modified choke. It's one of the ones made by Marlin / Remington after they moved production to New York. The wood actually looks kind of cool, but they goofed the forend channel up a little. Still, the action is tight and it seems to pattern where the bead says it should. Wasn't too bad for $150. I'm planning to hang on to it.

Few months back I picked up a Grey Ghost Cornerstone stripped lower. I've since been 'encouraged' to hurry the heck up and finish it. First AR I've built in over 10 years. Last one was a nerfed NY 'carbine' when I lived there, thankfully living in a more free state now.

Next step, and blessed by the wife as my Father's Day gift this year, is to get the paperwork started and get a Gemtech (or similar quiet maker) on order.

Very pleased.

I Got a Heritage Rough Rider in.22/.22 Magnum last week its a decent little S.A. revolver less than two bills. Its fun to shoot has a decent trigger and compliments my lever action .22's and my old double action pistol nicely

So, I won't be shooting them any time soon, but ATF makes me do a background check so I guess they count. Local dept store had Anderson AR lowers on sale for $49.99 and with recent events I couldn't help but pick up a couple. Figure at that price I should do alright, also have a growing interest in 300 blackout and sooner or later will need a target (scoped) AR.
