Gun stickers on cars

No stickers or decals for decades on my vehicles. I have had this plate on my truck(s) since 2003 and have had no problems. On the contrary, when breaking down in Murphy, North Carolina, a few years back, AAA towed me to a small garage on U.S. 64.

After repairing the minor fuel injection problem, the owner refused payment, saying to me, "Navy does a favor for Army." and shook my hand. Turns out he was a 20 year Navy vet. I will never forget that!

I do have a NRA sticker on my rear window. But that is it. Around here you are not bothered by many for what you put on your car. But I do not want to call a lot of undue attention to myself either. All you have to do is look inside when it is parked and see all the empty brass and targets with the bullseyes shot out in the back.:D The cars I see plastered with bumper stickers around here most always are a Subaru or Prius and have Obama/Hillary or the current local "D" politician along with the standard rainbow logo and a couple marijuana leaves all prominently displayed. I agree, it does matter where you live as to whether it is a good idea or not to put any type of bumper sticker on your car.

No bumper stickers for me. I work in Chicago, having a bumper sticker for a Republican candidate can easily get your windshield busted. A pro gun sticker invites a break in.
IMHO a "Blue lives matter" will get me shot at.
I work in North Lawndale. One of the most violent areas of the city.

Nope. No stickers on any of our vehicles. I also don't wear any clothes with names or logos. I'm not a walking billboard. And last the trucks with the rubber bull testicles swinging on the trailer hitch. Get a life.

Back in my younger days I had lots of gun stickers on my Dodge 1500 4x4 truck. I guess I had something to prove. I now drive a 4x2 beat up Mazda B3000 with no gun advertisements. I don't wear gun related apparel either. I try very hard to look like an average Joe when in public. The only thing I have to prove now is that less hair=less ego.

'zoom-zoom', The Rat Fink, Florida state flag and NRA stickers on my Mazda Miata.
Never a problem and I have been asked once if I was a USMC. The NRA sticker was misinterpreted as the fouled anchor and globe. How I can't say. And a fan of "BIG DADDY" Ed Roth asked where I found the Rat Fink sticker.

I don't run stickers on my car anymore. The bumper is painted, not chrome so sticking something to paint seems like a bad idea.

I really don't want to attract attention that there may be guns or camera equipment in my car.

I prefer to be a generic car owner driving a generic car that attracts no attention.

I do wish the world was better, I'd love to put some of my ham gear in my car but the antenna's are likely going to say, break in and steal something.

Around here firearm related stickers do not attract attention. Location is a big factor here. Lots of people usually post in these threads who live in rather liberal, anti-gun locations, where said stickers or decals would be seen much different than for those of us in red states/gun-friendly areas.

No gun stickers. A few years ago I would have said I just don't like cluttering up my ride.

Now that I'm a family guy, I have no room with gun stickers, because my ride is plastered with school, team, scouts and sports stickers. :p

I have one sticker and one magnet. HHI is our vacation destination (Hilton Head Island) and the magnet is CCA Crabapple Community Association member because that is where I live. No gun stuff at all. My gun room is a whole different situation......

I should be able to put NRA, Glock, gun, stickers on my vehicle (if I wanted to).
I should be able to wear gun related clothing (if I wanted to).
Things are not as they should be, so I do neither.

unwise in my may issue people's republic to display any gun sticker, this advice from our very pro 2a small town police chief. so i display a 2 blue star pennant (both sons are in the service) and veterans for trump, both are magnets.

^^^This. Go to any parking lot in my town and if the truck/car has a bumper sticker, it's probably firearm/hunting related. Since Mathew's Bows are made just a few miles down the road, and bow hunting is so popular, finding a truck without a Mathews or "Bow hunter" sticker/decal on it is virtually impossible. Criminals around here know folks with NRA stickers own guns and aren't afraid to use them, so the stickers are as much a deterrent as a invitation.

That said, me personally, I have no stickers/decals on any of my vehicles other than the Conservation Patron State Park sticker. I do have a Harley License Plate trim ring tho...........:D.

The best bumper sticker I ever saw was on a Gold Lexus. The sticker was gold with black lettering and read: "Annoy a Liberal: Work hard and be happy"

The worst? The other day I saw an F-150 that had "Bernie" and "Feel the Bern" stickers on the rear bumper, sides of the bed, doors, front bumper, and hood. What kind of self-respecting Socialist even drives America's work truck?

This.

There's a high likelihood that some of the more militantly anti-Second Amendment people have low regard for other's private property as well, and I would rather not have my vehicle vandalized when it's unattended in a parking lot somewhere.

Don't tread on my obamacare with a stethoscope parted out to look like the Gadsden rattlesnake.

Where do you live and why can't you?

Location has nothing to do with it.
Don't think it best to be wearing a shirt stating "Gun control is hitting your target" if I had to defend myself.
Putting a sticker on my vehicle that says "Body piercing by Glock", doesn't seem like a good idea either.

Exercising my 1st amendment right with discretion.

I don't have stickers on my vehicle. Not necessarily opposed to it, just never something I've considered doing.
