Picked up a new SOG Seal Pup fixed blade today. Not going to be an EDC blade but for those times when a fixed blade is called for. It will ride in my car.

This thread inspired me to order a Spyderco knife. It's a used 79mm Rescue with orange handle. Made in Seki, Japan. Perfect for my needs. Thanks to the OP for starting this thread.

Centofante 3 today. Quite possibly my favorite knife. I don't know why. It's just mediocre by most standards, but it feels so dang good.

nice! Seki Japan is a world famous quality knife maker especially the VG10 steel.
When you get it you may want to experiment with a zip tie mod to make it a wave opener that deploys automatically when you draw from your pocket.

Wow. That zip tie mod is kind of nifty. I've never seen that before.
It really works like a charm. Never had it fail to deploy when I pull it out. Just need to pull back against the rear of the pocket. Helps to put a lanyard to help give you something to grip pulling it out. Sweetness. I thought everyone knew about this. Glad I shared it.

Well just snagged myself another fixed blade for the go bag. Got a Gerber Strongarm to go with my SOG Seal Pup.

Me? A US Army-stamped Ka-Bar. For the $50 I paid for it (leather sheath included) 20 years ago you just can't beat it; reliable and as tough as nails.

I have been carrying daily, unless motorcycling, a good old American made Kershaw Launch 7200. It is the ideal knife for my daily purposes and needs. Sometime I miss not having a corkscrew tho.

Been on a knife kick so picked up a Kershaw Leek and CRKT M16 01S. Still EDC my Spyderco Tenacious and Dragonfly though.

Same as I have carried for years X2 Voyager by Cold Steel 6" blade carries clipped to front pocket. I have carried large folders in all 48 states while trucking and never once been a problem. Not even in NYC . Guess I was just lucky all those years . Only drew once in Newark NJ at 3 in morning . Back off a few who wanted to know what the white bread was doing in their hood.

I almost always have my Vic Adventurer in my pocket. It's a basic SAK model like a Tinker, just bigger. Sometimes will add a modern in addition to the SAK and that usually is a Spyderco Native 5, ZT 0770CF, or a little Benchmade Barrage. I like an AO knife as a second (for fun), but the SAK cuts the most stuff consistently day in day out.

CRKT Fire Spark and Leatherman Super Tool 300. All Day every day. Use them both a lot here on the farm.
