Picked up a two tone for a present to myself. Was wondering after the G-42 thread if anyone might have carried on caliber wise? Triggers nice,i used facto. armscor 9mm. hp's 124g did well. Then RMR plated 124g fp's w/ BE/86 did good @ 12 yd's but just getting used to. Then banged out some steel @15+ plate size Nice!

Hello Lauderdale,
I was one of the ones participating in the G42 thread. I also picked up a G43. I did not have to do anything different in my standard 9MM loads for it. It has so far digested my loads of 4.0 - 4.1 gr of Promo under Xtreme or RMR 124gr plated bullets with no issues whatsoever. I haven't found it to need warmer loads as the G42 did.

I really like both those little Glocks. Unfortunately, I sold the G43 to a buddy, but will pick up another one soon.

Yes mstreddy im liken it! When I shot relaxed I shot well on steel im going to work w/it. Put new parts on my SDB press. I loaded a lot of flavors w/that G-42!! I have to take a brake from my t-7 turret. Not braggen by no means i needed to learn more on that turret then on a progressive.

I just got a G43 a few weeks ago and am shooting the same ammunition that I use in my other 9x19 firearms. 115 RN Plated fueled by True Blue.

124gr FMJ propelled by 5.7gr Unique. Been shooting this load for years in my G19 and it performs very well in my G43.

I cast my own bullets at 147gr. and load them at 3.0gr Titegroup for my G26 and G19. They shoot good but I can drop the load down to 2.8 for the 43 and it's a joy at that level. My bullets are either Bayou or my own Hi-Tek coated.

Mine has been accepting any shape bullet flawlessly from 115 to 147 gr. with various loads using Unique. You'll have to figure out your load for yourself. When it was new, I had a couple fail to feed and eject issues but it was the brass not properly resized. Ever since, no problems at all.

I reload for the g-43 my wifes gun , and a g-19 we shoot about 200 rds a week , the g-43 is great she really likes it no problems at all I reload using rmr 124 gr fmj and Alliant power pistol powder 6.2 gr. I worked up to this load. As per the Alliant powder web site 6.4 is a max charge for this set up .

I ended up selling my 43 because I just didn't shoot it as well as my other single stack 9's, but when I was reloading for it I found medium burn rate powders to work best overall in the pistol.

For Winchester 115 N-JHP and Speer 115 GDHP, 5.7gr CFE Pistol with CCI SP primer and Federal FC case @ 1.125" proved to be good accurate loads.
Also Xtreme plated 115 RN in Federal FC case, CCI SP, 5.3gr CFE Pistol, 1.105" OAL

For 124 I liked Power Pistol the best, specifically either Winchester 124 FMJ or Hornady XTP. 6.5gr Power Pistol with a 124 XTP in Hornady and UMC brass, CCI SP primers loaded at 1.105" For the 124 FMJ i seat to 1.110" OAL and run 6.3gr Power Pistol, all else the same.

The hands down best 147 I loaded for the little G43 was 3.1gr TiteGroup with a 147 From ZERO bullets, FC & RP brass, CCI SP, loaded to 1.155" OAL. Soft shooting, superbly accurate and very fast follow up shots. I currently still load this for my Other little 9mms.
My second favorite was 5.6gr Power Pistol and a 147 XTP @ 1.141"

These loads all did well in my 43 while I had it and continue to do well in my M&P Shield, Sig 938 and KelTec P11.

Thank you fellas! W/ be/86 w/the 124g. fphp that they now carry/because of discontinuation from the 124g. fp seems fine. I need to chrono and do a lil. more work. the 4.6/4.7g load w/ steel targets seems to do just as well. Thanks again. John

For what it's worth a seller on ebay is selling crimson trace red laser sights for the 43 for 149.99 shipped. I picked one up for the wife, and wish I got one for mine after a few rounds with hers.
So far I mostly ran 115 xtreme/berrys with bullseye and s&b primers. I have shot a small quanity of 124 grainers with BE86. It doesn't seem as picky as the 42 is on charge weight when I was working up the loads.

I cast my own bullets at 147gr. and load them at 3.0gr Titegroup for my G26 and G19. They shoot good but I can drop the load down to 2.8 for the 43 and it's a joy at that level. My bullets are either Bayou or my own Hi-Tek coated.

Are you using stock recoil springs in your G26?
