For instance if we pass OC in Florida all those no gun signs will now have weight of law which screws up for the CC folks.

Believe it only applies to CC not OC. I had a friend who couldn't open carry in his car he had to disarm and put in the door. I guess now he can at least CC it.

Florida has some of the strongest gun laws but open carry is only allowed in certain situations.

True. Florida is now one of only 5 states with no OC, except under those special conditions.

And the sad part about it, is that RINO's in the FL Senate are the ones preventing OC to go through.

You can conceal carry in the vehicle in N.H., without a permit, as long as the firearm is unloaded, with no round in the chamber, and no magazines attached.

But now with the new constitutional carry in NH you don't have to disconnect the mag in the vehicle and all that nonsense, correct? I can carry there just like I can in Vermont right?

My non-resident CC permit has expired in NH. I'm wondering if I need to renew, or if there is now no need?

I think I would like to publicly thank my friend, NH state representative Bill Ohm for being one of the good guys. He has shot with us for many years on our bullseye team and I'm very thankful for his service to his state!

That depends. For one thing, you would need to have a permit if you wanted to drive through Illinois with a loaded forearm in the passenger compartment. There may also be ramifications concerning schools.

I would renew.

Squire Western- If you haven't already, come over to our gun club this summer, lots of great events, especially uspsa and skeet and trap. Great 3D bow course too!
Lamoille Valley Fish and Game Club Lvfgc.com. Website sucks, sorry!
I have found that many of the "come here's " (myself included) actually like the gun laws the way they are and the second home owners don't take any interest in politics that doesn't involve property taxes. The problem is the city of Burlington has become a San Fran wannabe, breeding all kinds of idiotic political "solutions". Many of these problem solvers are native Vermonters.
I am also excited about not having to disarm when I go to NH. there was actually a wierd loophole for Vt residents already that allowed us to carry in Nh with a letter from our town police chief or sheriff.
Hopefully they will continue to allow us to carry there.

Thank you very much for the invitation and information! I will check out the gun club website. We usually go up in June.

What do these three states have in common?
No large (compared to rest of USA) cities.
City life means lots of people around you all the time. Makes people scared. Scared people are desperate to pretend they are safe. Lots of illogical , fanciful thinking results.
By the way, VT Is pretty blue, not red, politically speaking.
Arizona has the 12th largest metropolitan area in the US and is only about 20% smaller than #5 (Philadelphia-Camden-Wilmington). Once you get past NY, LA, and Chicago the increments are fairly small. We were the 3rd after Vermont and Alaska. Does that make us more logical? :)

That's like 10 counties in Texas.

None of which have Constitutional carry... right?

You guys just got open carry, and we've all had it forever. Literally.... there's never been a time when we didn't have it.

For all the pro-gun hot air I hear coming out of the south, you're laws resemble the peoples republics more than the liver free NNE crowd :p
