How about a .32 caliber club?

Count me in too. I'll post pics of my S&W hand ejector, KelTec and Ruger .327 Single 7. Love to shoot the .32's!!!

I also have a GP100 in .327 Fed but I cannot find a photo of it.

Yorgee,

(Barbra Streisand singing Memories) Ah one Florida winter in a shoulder holster....... but a wood gripped Nazi. One Silver Tip up the spout and a mag full of FMJ.

Those Brownings were neat .32ACPs for certain.

Yours is one pretty gun. Thanks for sharing it with us.

When I was about 14 the next door neighbor had a Walther PP in .32ACP. I really liked it and despite the itty bitty sights shot it fairly well even at speed. Well, at 50 feet at least.

Currently my only shootable .32 is a KT P32 that goes everywhere it is legal to go legally with me. It is loaded with FMJ. The Colt Police Positive .32NP I have written of before is currently out of time and given its condition not likely worth the money and effort to fix......great sadness.
It did some neat stuff in its short second life. Training folks and converting folks from anti gun or undecided to pro Second Amendment. I got it in a shoebox in pieces and used an old Smith and Smith Pistols and Revolvers and by guess and by golly to get it its second life. If it magically healed itself tonight in the safe it would be my daughter's training revolver. Actually was looking around for some of the original Small wood grips for a K-frame Smith this evening and for the proper side plate screws for when I pull the scope/ mount and pachmyers off my older M15 to fill that roll.Still it would have been nice to get the old Colt .32NP for her.

My Grandfather had a colt DA revolver he used to keep in his cash box. This gun was seized by the "local constabulary" when he used it to defend himself during a late 1960's race riot. The police returned something else rather than his Colt. He fired no shots, did not leave his car, nor brandish the weapon outside the car. No AC so the windows were down and he was unaware what awaited him around the corner. He did point the revolver at a man attempting to crawl in the window and take the cash box. The guy got the box......but spilled all the cash and receipts in the car after seeing the old Colt. Other folks began screaming "GUN!" and the police descended on his old Mercury Comet to disarm him.

Not necessarily my favorite caliber but I do like many of the 32 acp autos, I have a 03 Colt and a Walther PP two elegant CCWs from early times.

I don't own any .32s, but my brother just recently got himself an SP101 in .327. It was pretty neat gun. I personally really want Ruger to bring back the GP100 in .327 Mag. That thing is like Sasquatch; I've seen pictures, heard stories, I've even met people who claim to have personal experience with one... but I've never seen one for myself. I'd buy one in a heartbeat if they brought it back (and made it available in California).

I didn't see any mention of the .32 NAA (.380 necked to a .32). It is supposed to be a pretty hot little round. Hornady advertises their 80 gr. FTX to be doing 1000 fps at the muzzle. That is pretty nice, but I guess a little superfluous, considering light-for-caliber (~80 gr.) .380 Auto will be doing about the same velocity.

I also haven't seen any mention of the 7.92x24mm VBR (.30 Carbine cut down with a .312" bullet). The VBR Round was designed to fit in the Glock 17, and I believe it had a magazine capacity of 19 for a G17-length mag. If it could fit in a Glock 17, it could fit in pretty much any 9mm platform. I would love to see a similar .32 round that is designed for use in .45 platform handguns; a .30 Carbine cut down and loaded with a .312" bullet.

Another fun thing to see would be something like the .30 Luger, but as a .32. Maybe take a stock of old 9x21 IWI brass and neck it down to a .32. I'll bet that would be pretty fun. You could probably get some decent velocity on it, though probably not .327 Mag levels. For that, maybe having a 9x23 Win necked down to a .32 could do the trick, or maybe just a slightly expanded 7.62x25mm Tok. Either way, that little .32 would be sizzling. And, so long as the OAL was around the .45 ACP length, you'd have a huge supply of platforms to shoot it out of!

When I think of all the possibilities for a .32, I really tend to think it is an under-used caliber in full-sized handguns.

Oh well. Thanks for the post! I hope to join your club some day!

Here's my S&W 32 Hand Ejector chambered in 32-20. I guess it was made in the early 1920s. It was refinished at some time in its life and I got it with some ugly, poor quality stag grips. These grips were something I had on hand that were removed from another K frame.

I have several other 32 caliber handguns other than the 32-20, from current to over 100 years old (32 ACP, 32 H&R and 327 Federal Magnum). They are quite enjoyable to own and shoot. Now to get one chambered in 32 S&W Long.

How about cute ones? I got this Charter Arms Undercoverette in 32 H&R magnum mostly for my wife and daughter on the rare occasions when I'm away for the evening. It was cheap. I guess no one else wanted to bid on a pink one.

This Kel-Tec P32 is a cute little thing too. I think it's my smallest firearm.

What about plain old-fashioned service weapons?

Here is the aforementioned CZ70. I got it NIB for super cheap. It functions 100% reliably. Unfortunately, it doesn't fit my hand well at all. You win some and you lose some. All in all it's at least a well made and dependable pistol. It came with the box, papers, and a leather holster. I took this picture right away. You can still see traces of the packing grease on it. It would probably be a great pistol for me if my hands were a lot smaller.

Here is a French MAB Model D. I believe it's very much inspired by a Browning 1922. It has weird target grips and sight installed to enable it to be imported to the US. The good news is that it functions 100% and that the strange grips help it fit my extra-large hands very well. The bad news is that the ridiculous sights are all but impossible to use. I got some standard sights but am not sure how to install them. It looks like there might be some kind of strange tab helping hold them in underneath. Any advice would be very much appreciated. Has anyone here exchanged the sights on one of these? With the normal sights I think I could shoot it very well.

This is my only .32 now, a Colt P0lice Positive .32 New Police manufactured 1966. This is the same cartridge as the .32 S&W Long but Colt would not put S&W on their firearms so they always renamed the S&W cartridges as a Colt for example their .38 S&W chambered handguns where marked as the .38 New Colt Police.
