How about a .32 caliber club?

I'm a fan of the .32 caliber as well. Here's mine. At the top we have a Rossi .32 then there's a LCR, SP101, GP100 and Single Seven in .327 FM. Just waiting for Henry to begin shipping them so I can grab a Big Boy in .327 too. IMAG0063.jpg

Cheap and Expensive:

Here is the cheap one, a little NEF (H&R) 32 magnum snubby. It works just fine. I think I paid $143 for it. It didn't look like it had ever been shot much.

Here is the expensive one. It's a Ruger SP101 in 327 magnum. I bought it when they first came out. It cost over $500, IIRC. It's a nice revolver, other than the DA trigger being so dang stiff.

.32 lovers of the world UNITE!!! Picked up this nice little Astra 300 last year. It would be a 99% gun except for tiny little rust spots all over the gun. Still a nice find and the rust is barely noticable. Bore is very good. This gun falls in the serial # range that were delivered to the Nazis on 1942. It probably went to the Luftwaffe, they preferred the .32s over the .380s. The gun has no Nazi markings, which is correct for the guns. The .380s WERE marked with acceptance stamps and the .32s were not. Go figure.

I also have a Nagant revolver which shoots very well with 32 S&W longs. The round is undersized, but pressures are so low that the case doesn't even expand to fit the chamber!!! It is quite accurate, if woefully underpowered. It struggles to put a bullet through a 2X4 !!

Some day I'll take a picture of all this stuff, but meanwhile ...
  • Colt Army Special in .32-20
  • Colt 1903 Pocket Hammerless in .32 ACP
  • CZ-83 in .32 ACP
  • Bersa Thunder in .32 ACP
  • Walther PP in .32 ACP
  • Kel-Tec P32 in .32 ACP (two of them)
Yeah, I like .32-caliber handguns.

Yeah, you can't have too many Kel-Tec P32s laying around the house. Toivo, I have shot a Walther PPK/S in .380. Didn't like it. How is the .32 on your shootin' hand?

A few years ago my girlfriend received a Glock 17 from her dad. She has small hands and it was too much gun for her. We went and traded it in on a SP-101 in .327. Now in .327 this is a little violent for her, but .32 h&r is fine and I just bought a couple boxes of .32 s&w long for target practice. I think for most women who are not gun nuts a double action revolver is a better choice, simple and effective. I enjoy shooting it too, it was an eye opener the first time I shot it with the .327 mag rounds. People at the indoor range were like "what the hell is that thing" high pitched loud crack!

The first time I shot my LCR 327 the shooters on both sides of me at the range put down the screens that block you from being pelted by shells from semi autos.

They said they wanted to shield themselves from the muzzle blast and cylinder gap blast from my 327 Federal revolver.

I was shooting the American Eagle 100gr 327 Federal and that stuff is HOT.

Anyone who thinks a 32 is just for wimps should shoot a couple cylinders of the AE ammo.

Love that fire! I first shot mine at an outdoor range. Had earmuffs on, and thought it was loud. Decided to see how loud - I took off the muffs and shot. My ears rang for the next hour. I practice with reloads at factory power, and .32 longs loaded very puny. A very versatile gun. I'm curious to see what it will do to varmints.

Colt “Smokeless Automatic” .32 ACP, 3.25” barrel, double action only (DAO) semiauto, mfg. ~1924, inherited 1999.

The rifling is worn out so accuracy sux.

Gotta love the 32s. Accurate, fun, economical, excellent on small game - though I do know of two Deer and one Elk taken with Single Sevens and one of the Deer was take with a 32 H&R load...

I talked myself out of the 32 H&R Single Six when it first came out and a few times afterward. Finally got one a few years back and couldn't imagine a better pairing between a cartridge and a gun... Then they introduced the 327 Single Seven.. It gets the field carry call most of the time.

That is interesting taking elk with a small caliber handgun? That is illegal in many states?
