STEATHGEAR VS N82

Here's a data point from Greg Ellifritz blog http://www.activeresponsetraining.net/dontdigtherig-part-3

I’ve written about hybrid holsters before. I don’t like them at all. While they may be comfortable, I’ve seen significant problems with them in my training classes. The hybrids that use some type of neoprene backing will occasionally “lock up” when the shooter is trying to draw. The neoprene is so flexible that pressure from the body pushes through the backer and collapses it up against the gun. The pressure from the shooter’s own fat or muscle tissue drives the gun into the kydex shell and makes it difficult to draw under stress or when shooters attempt to draw while moving.

I have looked at the stealthgear models quite a few times. Never pulled the trigger on one since my crossbreed has been just chugging along lol. No issues with it, so never went on to try anything else...

Just a thought about the N82, it has a mighty lot of material behind it. I for one very much dislike holsters that have that large of a sweat shield. It feels like I can't get a good grip on the gun while drawing from concealment. Just my $0.02, YMMV.

I ordered a Stealth gear holster back on April 8th. Still have not received any shipping date info.

Odd, they shipped my latest one in 3 days. Though my first one took almost 2 m9nths to ship.

I like minimal material around the holster and really like the mini or appendix stealthgear holsters.
