I have a Walther PPS-M2 that I am trying to figure out how to carry. What passes for summer is coming here in Alaska will be here by June ( leaves in Sept) and I will be wearing less jackets.
So,,,, I was thinking about a tuckable IWB type holster. I like a forward cant if that can be done with a IWB. However, I have never tried a tuckable IWB holster.

Cam you really tuck in your shirt or does it look all messed up?

Brand recommendations ???

Crossbreed holsters are very good and their customer support is excellent.
I have a few of their Supertuck holsters. You can tuck your shirt and make it look good, depending on both the shirt and the gun. I rarely do. The horse hide option is an absolute must. Very comfortable and zero break in time.
Alien gear is another brand that cost less and some recommend. I have a couple and they are far below Crossbreed in quality. Maybe the new ones are better.

I made my own hybrid. It works, and looks just fine. Full size (bigger than GLOCK 19) gun too, if I'm careful. I'm 5'10, 155

High Noon makes a few. I've used their Split Decision for a Taurus TCP, Kahr CW9, Ruger SR9, and a Sign P238. At around $30, they're a bargain. They're probably not as durable as many that are out there (the Split Decision uses a very thin leather) but for the price, who cares? Q

I prefer the Alien Gear holster. Yes you can tuck your shirt in and be covert. I just don't tuck it in 'uniform tight', but 'blouse' it out a little. It will all depend on your gun and your physique.

I carry a G19 in a horsehide Crossbreed Supertuck and it's ridiculously comfortable. You can tuck a shirt in over it and hide everything but the belt clips. I've done it with dress shirts and it should be even easier with something like a flannel shirt. As noted above by easy, it's best to 'blouse' the shirt out a little bit. Also, you can't really see it on CB's website, but the Supertuck has several holes on each side, so that you can adjust the cant.

The cheap ones aren't very good. I have a DeSantis Soft-tuck and don't like it. The pistol digs into my side something fierce.
Of course, I'm not a small guy, so that may play into it.

I have heard that N82 Tactical IWB holsters are the cat's meow. They sure look more comfortable than the cheaper stuff.

Over the years I have had several of the soft suede type holsters. Never liked them. Of course I didn't conceal carry real often either.

I recommend Blackpoint Tactical's Mini Wing Holster. It's a full kydex holster body so it won't collapse in when the gun is drawn, it's tuckable, and it's a great quality piece of kit. I have one for my Sig P226, my P229, my Walther PPS and another on the way from my HK P30L. I also have a G-Code Incog on the way for my VP9 and it is also an IWB that is tuckable.

I will warn you, I ordered the G-Code Incog about two months ago and I'm still waiting on it. Black point runs about 3 to 4 weeks for production and delivery to you.

I have a Crossbreed Supertuck horsehide that is comfortable. It's easy to tuck a shirt between the holster and waistband and pretty much invisible worn at 5 o'clock with a loose fitting shirt.

I have tuckable holsters from Crossbreed, Aliengear, Galco and N82 Tactical. They're all great, but N82 Tacticals are most comfortable, mainly because they use a thicker, softer padding. Be aware that their Pro series require you to twist the gun as you're drawing it. I tried getting used to it, but had too hard of a time drawing it consistently. I didn't want to be in the position of needing the gun and not being able to get it out of the holster so I filed down some of the plastic that covers the trigger guard. It's still very secure, but I don't need to twist it now.

I've tried Crossbreed and some of the quality clones and never was happy, I found them uncomfortable for all day wear. I took a gamble on a N82 holster and am amazed, even with a single belt clip I honestly can forget I'm wearing a holster. They really are that comfortably. Plus, they're cheap.

I wore a de santis intruder for a long time. It was pretty good and the tuckability was nice.

I wonder if anyone makes a IWB with a thumb-break strap that could go under the hammer of my Browning P-35 ? Twice now I have discovered that the safety has been moved to the off position after a day of rubbing against my fat.

The Andrews MacDaniel II is available with a thumb break. http://www.andrewsleather.com/traditional.htm

Black Hills Leather has a couple of models https://blackhillsleather.com/gun-leather-holster/inside-the-waist.html

Tauris offer's a thumb break on their IWB holsters http://www.taurisholsters.com/itp.cfm

I make no claims any of them make a tuckable model, but they all offer an IWB with a thumb break.

I have a tuckable IWB holster on order for my Walther PPSM2. But now that I have paid for it..... it certainly seems to be taking a long time to get it...

So I might as well buy something for my HiPower. I like a good high rise pancake style thumbbreak for the P-35 but an IWB would be OK for a lot of days as well.

My Stealth Gear holster arrived and I really like it for my Walther PPS. It was not cheap, but it sure is a dream to wear.
I tried making a photo thread but the pics are not posting.

I recently qualified a tuckable holster for my big .357 GP100 5 inch barrel revolver. Comfortable iwb carry and discreet concealment under a dress shirt. Much better concealed but slower draw than with shoddier looking untucked over shirt (sorry delicates...). I tuck it with a gift or credit card. Hides a big revolver well. Swaprigholsters.com, "revolution", horsehide, and for 18 bucks can get additional skins for all of your handguns. Cannot compare to other recommendations, but comfy carry / sit / drive, big revolver at 4 o'clock position, no noticeable printing under button down dress shirt.

When I was plain clothes for 11 years, I wish we would have had some of these new fangled holsters. I tried a couple of the old suede IWB things with the metal clips. They were not so swell. Half the time my friggin gun would be coming half way out while I was sitting at a cafe. Well there was probably better stuff out there... back then I was just too broke to bother looking for it.

Here is BlueBunny's link. They seem to have some nice gear. http://www.swaprigholsters.com/Start_Here_for_IWB_OWB_Holsters_s/1814.htm
