What is the last gun that you bought?

DS Arms FAL 21" Barrel.

Then I blew the DSA magazine out the bottom of it with an over charged Wolf round on my 10th shot in the new gun.

Live and learn!

Dan Wesson Silverback in fourty-five auto. Also bought a Browning Buckmark contour seven inch that day, it was lonely, being stuck in the used case while it was brand new. A month previous it was a Desert Eagle stainless in fifty AE.
I think I am done for the year.... maybe. There is that new copper colored Kimber....no. No. I'm good. Yes. Done for the summer, no, year. Yes I'm done. Whew, is it hot in here?

My first AR-15 last year (replacing my non-AR .223Rem rifle that was stolen five years ago),
And, I just received the AR-15 80% lower kit, jig set, parts kit and complete upper for my second poodleshooter.
Darned things are like Lays tater chips.

I'm still buying it. A month ago I put a Rock Island Armory Rock Compact (1911) on layaway to hold the gun and the price until I can pay it off once I get my first summer school paycheck. Turns out it was a mistake since the gun is still available and it is now $13 less expensive. Oh well, it will be fully mine in a few weeks to a month.

Model 637 S&W .38 Special. NIB on a Gunbroker auction for a decent price of $327.00.

Current last gun as of May 2017 at a Gun Show. Found - after much looking - a 1903 Greek Mannlicher-Schonauer in 6.5x54 MS. Bought it for what seemed a fair price.

Bad news is the barrel is so worn, I get keyhole shots at 20 yards or so. I've also noted the original barrel and stock was (fairly neatly) cut off, so it really isn't a collector. The action is in good shape. So now it goes into the rebuild category as a gentleman's stalking rifle and potential elephant rifle in honor of Walter M. D. Bell.

Smith & Wesson 908 9mm
Smith & Wesson Model 15-3
Smith & Wesson Model of 1955 (pre-Model 26) .45 ACP

The last two before the elections last year. My first internet purchases. First a Ruger LCP and then a Sig P290RS. Had to add to the carry collection.

Well it had been a S&W M&P Shield 9 I bought last month, but I fell to the temptation of another cheap compact 9mm, taurus pt11 g2. Figure I better get it at the LGS for 199 while they still had it there. Went from no to 2 9mm pistols in short order. Have to get this taurus to the range now.

This just arrived at my FFL week before last. It's an 1892 Winchester sporting rifle in 44 WCF (44-40) manufactured in 1911. It's has about 80% bluing on the barrel and magazine with less than 40% on the receiver turning plum. (common for rifles from this period) The edges of the receiver are still sharp showing almost no actual metal wear. The bore is bright and shiny and the wood is excellent being proud to the metal in most areas.

I staged it with some of my other Winchester stuff. I didn't have a 1911 catalog, but the one in the middle is from 1910. The gun grease, oil bottle, screwdrivers, and even the scissors are Winchester products from the 1920's. The poster and calendar are reproductions as is the Winchester style cleaning rod. The little thumb pump oil can is an Eagle brand from the 20's or 30's, which has a label marked "Hoover". When's the last time you had to oil your vacuum cleaner?.

Anderson stripped lower from Cabela's $49.95, then ordered a Stag Model 4 Rifle kit from Stag on sale for $464.95 with free shipping. Total cost less than $530.00 including sales tax at Cabela's and gas for the 140 mile round trip to Cabela's (in my wife's Prius :oops:)

My late son owned a hydro-graphics business. He had 10 gun stocks that he used as samples of his work at gun shows. My wife wanted to have at least one stock as a memorial to his work. Took me a while to figure out what gun the stocks fit but I figured it out. and purchased a Marlin XT-22R. Took it to a gunsmith and had the stock installed. My wife is thrilled with it God Bless her.

I'm sorry for your loss, D Rudd. It has to be hard losing a son. It sounds like a great token to remember him by.

My latest purchase is a Mossberg 500 in stainless, picked up used today.
