AR10 Compatibility

Hammer, trigger, springs for both and buffer tube are the same for all as far as I know. Retaining pins for trigger and hammer also.
All 6 of the AR 10s i have owned were Armalite, can't comment on the others.
But... get upper and lower from the same maker. Read too many stories about folks that mixed but didn't match 100%.

Unfortunately there is not any standard when it comes to 308/large frame AR rifles. Even among those that are built to the DPMS standard.

Your best bet is to stick with a lower and upper receiver from the same manufacturer. Palmetto State Armory, Aero Precision, DPMS, among others. I would also source your parts kit from the same manufacturer as your receivers.

I went with all Palmetto State Armory parts to insure every thing would work together. Even though the PSA PA10 is a DPMS pattern, it is not completely compatible. Some parts will not work.

Barrel nuts are different on some. I don't use rails, no idea on those.

There are a lot of clones... the real m110 is made my knights armament...ive never see a real one for commercial use. the mk11/ SR25 is knights too. The clones are usually DPMS...BUT ALWAYS verify.
Most companies will say DPMS compatible or armalite compatible.

Most of the search I did turned up a lot of talk dating around 2011, give or take. Had to wonder if much has changed in the last few years.
