Anyone have any experience with the Paco Tools 410 reloading kit? Lanes?

How do the folding crimps turn out?

Would like to reload 410 but would like a setup that is a bit more compact than a MEC loader.

Exploring options.

I have a Lanes Loader for 410, and Lee Loaders for 12 gauge. It works okay, if you only want to load a box or two at a time. If you want to load any quantity, get a Mec. There's no comparison. The crimps weren't great, but I picked up a 410 crimp tool on eBay, and the crimps are much better.

If you use and like Lee Loaders or Lyman 310 tools, you'll dig these. If you want actual production, these aren't for you.

+1^^^^^^^^^^
I have a Lee Loader for the .410. I used it for years. When I decided that I wanted to become more proficient with the .410.... I bought a MEC.
That being said, it is nice to have a little backup kit for reloading anything.

Thanks for the responses.
With the Lee and Lanes options they don't start fold crimps with new hulls do they?

Kinda suspecting I could adapt some of the MEC crimp components onto my Lee press with some creative manufacturing. The crimp is my largest concern. Sounds like a fun project for winter amusement at the moment even if I end up procuring a MEC 600 Jr.

Production quantities might be 50-150 over a year for me.... But that is subject to increase. Lol

Might just be better off just getting a press.
