Hey Guys,

I am a bigger dude I just bought a M&P 2.0 I've been looking at holsters that won't dig into my side. My preferred carry style is on the belt. Anyone have any recommendations?

Probably just about anything leather. You aren't space limited like the skinny guys are, so most anything would probably work.

I generally find pancake holsters more comfortable, and you may want to try the type that is offset molded...

Being a Gentleman of Substance myself, I can offer a few tips. You're most likely to find 4 o'clock carry works best. IWB or OWB is up to you and your situation. And don't discount pocket carry...I find myself stuffing a Glock 43 into a coat pocket often (yes, I use a holster for that).

FWIW, my go-to for leather is Ken Null.

View attachment 771601 My primary CCW pistol is a Glock 23 in a strong side OWB Fist #9 leather holster. It has lasted & is still in service. By the way get the body protector upgrade & partially reinforced lip for easy reholstering & better comfort.
I've got to admit, after seeing that first picture, with the semi-collapsed holster mouth (it could just be the angle that makes it look that way), and then the comment of the "Glock 23", my first thought was this...

Lol. No it's a bad angle but I was trying to show the body protector which is a piece of leather off the top of the holster that custions the slide from contacting your body. This holster works fine (no flop on the tigger guard) but I recommend the reinforcement for a better shape hold; However, this one holds fine. I actually have a spare #9 holster but I have not worn this one out. I was also trying with this picture to demonstrate how I lock the belt loop, the holster, & the belt together to make a more secure system.

Most often called a "sweat shield", for those looking for that feature on a holster.
