So what is the most famous gun or guns that you have never owner or fired.

With me, it is the Browning Hi-power and the Luger

A nice fella let me shoot his Garand 4th July couple years ago

Basically all of them. I have never so much as held an M1 Garand, 1911, Hi-Power, Mosin, SKS, Glock, AR-15 (I guess I briefly touched one at Cabela's), or anything like that.

It seems to me like the term "most famous gun" is kind of ambiguous. But I'll give answering a try anyway.
I've never owned or fired a 1st generation Colt SAA, a genuine Sharps, or an original Winchester 73. But if you equate "famous" to "popular," I've never owned or fired a world famous AK-47 - the most "popular" rifle in the world. I used to have a 7.62X39, but it was a notoriously inaccurate Ruger, not an AK-47.

I have a consignment online that is really rare. It is an 1871 U.S. Springfield Ward Burton Carbine. These were made for the military with about 1000 rifles made and only 312 Carbines. It is a bolt action in 50-70 caliber. Rough as a cob but so cool. I'll see if I can find the pictures.

That is something that I love about doing consignments. I get to see some really neat stuff.

Broomhandle Mauser. I never shot one.
..... That's one I ALMOST got to shoot when my buddy had one for a while in the 1980's. He had purchased it needing some work and when it was repaired he put it back on the market. Sadly for me it sold quickly for his asking price before I had an opportunity to put a few rounds through it.

Hipower, Luger, Garand, anything full-auto besides a Thompson, Sharps, and a Spencer. I really want to shoot a Spencer.
